On Monday July 6th, we made the presentation to Nicole, Wayne and Amber – volunteer board members of Friends of Alexander Place. The President, Nicole McBrayne did not know before I arrived that our total donation was $6,400.00! When we pulled out our donation cheque (see pictures), Nicole started to cry in amazement and gratitude. The residents of Alexander Place will now be able to ‘visit’ with family using new ipads/tablets, and our donations will also be used to upgrade the outside patio to comply with the COVID19 safety requirements.
