Women making a difference locally

Welcome to the Flamborough-Waterdown Chapter of 100 Women Who Care!

We bring together 100 (or more) women in Flamborough-Waterdown who care about local community causes and who are committed to community service. This chapter was founded in May 2018 by Doris Valade with the help of Lena Aggus and Heather Kane.

We have 4 meetings per year, and each meeting will be for one hour. Each member will bring a check for $100 to each meeting. We will have a presentation from 2-3 local charities, and then a majority vote at the end of the meeting will determine which charity will receive our donations.

Our goal is 100 women = a total donation of $10,000 at each meeting. Together we can make a difference in our community!

This was a virtual zoom meeting and our members were very supportive and generous, and so happy to support the charities in need here in Flamborough-Waterdown. Our next meeting will be on January 13, 2021. New members are welcome. Until then, take care and stay safe!
