Women making a difference locally

Welcome to the NEW Flamborough-Waterdown Chapter of 100 Women Who Care!

We intend to bring together 100 (or more) women in Flamborough-Waterdown who care about local community causes and who are committed to community service. This chapter was founded in May 2018 by Doris Valade with the help of Lena Aggus and Heather Kane.

We will have 4 meetings per year, and each meeting will be for one hour. Each member will bring a check for $100 to each meeting. We will have a presentation from 2-3 local charities, and then a majority vote at the end of the meeting will determine which charity will receive our donations.

Our goal is 100 women = a total donation of $10,000 at each meeting. Together we can make a difference in our community!

We are proud to announce that we presented our donation of $6,600 to the Flamborough Women's Resource Centre! We would also like to welcome you to visit us at the Waterdown Farmer's Market on Saturday August 31st. We look forward to seeing you there!
