We had our final meeting for 2025 on September 17th at the Waterdown Legion. It was so nice to see so many friendly faces!

As always we had 3 very worthy charities presenting, and the charity selected was Friends of Alexander Place.

Friends of Alexander Place (FOAP) is a charitable organization comprised of local community members, with the primary goal of raising funds for the senior residents of Alexander Place (Long-Term Care Home in Waterdown, Ontario) and surrounding community. Denise Cutler-Hauser (Chair of Friends of Alexander Place) received our donations in the total amount of $6,500.00. Attached is the presentation picture with Denise in the middle, Doris Valade on the left (co-chair of our chapter of 100 Women Who Care), and Juliette Diamonte on the right (Board Member of Alexander Place). They are very grateful for our support and Denise will be providing an update at our January meeting, to let us know how the funds will help the residents of Alexander Place.
