On June 19th, our members came together and selected The Darling Home for Kids to receive our donations. The total amount raised was $6,196.00 (includes added donations made to cover the processing fee). A few donations came after the presentation (and so the original check amount was $5,800.00). Attached is the picture taken at The Darling Home for Kids with Christina Birmingham on the left (she presented the charity) to our group, our co-chair Doris Valade in the middle, and on the right is Julia Pietrangelo, Development Officer with The Darling Home for Kids. Julia was thrilled with our support that will now go towards the purchase of the much needed narcotics cabinet. She will be joining us also at our September meeting to provide an update.
