On April 17th we had our second meeting of 2024 for our chapter of 100 Women Who Care at the Waterdown Legion. We had 2 charities presenting, and Migrants Matter was selected to receive our donations, in the amount of $7,000.00 – this total amount was a result of 70 members providing their donations of $100.00 each. Attached is the picture of our presentation to Migrants Matter – on the left is Terry Sciamonte who is a key organizer of Migrants Matter, our co-chair Doris Valade in the middle, and on the right is Sheila Leighton, one of the many volunteers with Migrants Matter.
