Welcome to the Flamborough-Waterdown Chapter of 100 Women Who Care!
We bring together 100 (or more) women in Flamborough-Waterdown who care about local community causes and who are committed to community service. This chapter was founded in May 2018 by Doris Valade with the help of Lena Aggus, Heather Kane and Meghan Hughes.
We have 4 meetings per year, and each meeting will be for one hour. Each member will bring a check for $100 to each meeting. We will have a presentation from 2-3 local charities, and then a majority vote at the end of the meeting will determine which charity will receive our donations.
Our goal is 100 women = a total donation of $10,000 at each meeting. Together we can make a difference in our community!

Thank you to the 40 members who attended our zoom meeting on January 17th. After presentations from Flamborough Connects and the Royal Canadian Legion BR 551 (Poppy Fund) votes were received with the majority going to Flamborough Connects. Together we raised $6,500.00. Shantal Woosley made the charity presentation, which included stories of how Flamborough Connects helps the seniors and the disabled in our community, with getting their food delivered when they are unable to leave the house, and how many seniors in long-term care homes received Christmas gifts through their Holiday Gift Program.
