Victoria's Quilts is a charity group that provide handmade quilts free of charge to people living with cancer across Canada, and includes Flamborough and Waterdown. They have over 1,300 volunteers in 24 communities, and since 1999, they have delivered over 81,000 quilts. Our chapter of 100 Women Who Care were happy to support this charity and our presentation was received by some of their volunteers, including Doris Melady – co-chair of the Waterloo division (third from the right) , Nicola Campbell, Nancy Sinnott and Marjorie Weber. Christina Burmingham (second from the right) presented this charity to our members at our January meeting.
