On Wednesday, September 20th, we had our final meeting for 2023, and we had presentations from 2 worthy charities - Flamborough Connects and Eagles Nest Association of Waterdown. Our members selected Eagles Nest, and Amanda DeVries, their Executive Director was presented with our total donation of $6,900.00.

Eagles Nest has been working in our community for over 18 years, and their aim is to equip people with tools to create a healthier future by helping them understand themselves, care for their mental health, and learn new tools for healthy relationships. They offer counseling, coaching, support groups, and programs to adults, youth, children, and families. Their services are fully subsidized or available at minimal cost to make them accessible to everyone.

The organization welcomes everyone regardless of religion, ethnicity, race, gender, or sexuality. For more information about Eagles Nest Association of Waterdown and their programs, please visit their website; Home - Eagles Nest of Waterdown (eaglesnestwaterdown.ca).
